Usually, I like to keep things happy and light, however, even squirrels have dark days and today I’m feeling rather dark. It all started with a phone call from my husband telling me he was going to have to work on Saturday. His team is being called in to provide security during the memorial of Capt. Matthew P. Manoukian, an American soldier who recently lost his life in Afghanistan. Even in a large area like SiliconValley, there is a connectivity between people and I know at least three friends who are greatly effected by Capt. Manoukian’s passing.
