Amen Praise The Lord Hallelujah! My internet is working again! I have spent the last day and a half trying to make posts from my iPhone and it was a big fail! I felt lonely without a voice to talk to you all. I realized how much I look forward to sharing my faith with you. Today I am sending out a big THANK YOU to all of my FS readers! I love talking to you but what makes me even happier is when a reader responds back to me! The comment below was made in response to my post “Me, You, and That Other Guy In The Pew”. It is chock-full of powerful points and inspiration. Thank You FS reader for taking the time to care and educate!!!
FS: I’m a lifelong Catholic from baptism in 1952 to today. From the age of five, I have been in Catholic schools – first as a student and then as a teacher, 51 years of my 60 years of life. I’ve watched the pendulum swing to the Left in both society and the Church and slowly come back to the Right. From an oldie but goodie to a newbie, I would like to give you a little perspective that might make you feel a little less vulnerable. The Catholic Church is the largest impediment to secular humanism in this country and the world. For about 40 years, it has liberalized internally, which weakened the church in the U.S. externally. A deal was made with the devil – bishops played into the government’s hands by declaring entitlements to be charity and pushing social justice, which is another name for socialism. The good news is the U.S. church is not THE Church. The Vatican is paying more attention to what’s going on in this country and younger bishops and clergy are more conservative and recognize that the deals made with the government have come back to bite the church in the BUTTress – infringement on religious freedom as well as entanglements with big government agencies interfering in the spiritual lives of the faithful. They are also learning what many of the faithful among evangelicals and other sects already knew – human secularism/socialism is a threat to the religious freedom and the country. This turn around is why the main stream media has been so focused on damaging the Church; she stands between the goals of worldwide Communism and the peoples of this world. She is powerful, has deep pockets, and worldwide influence as well as a moral imperative. So, stand tall. The reason you’re feeling embattled is because you are now part of a battle on the human and spiritual planes for the heart and soul of this country. As the Church is the last spiritual bastion, the U.S. is the last bastion of freedom and religious freedom is at the country’s foundation. Others will fall into the trap the mainstream media has set of confusing the CHURCH with some fallible individuals. The larger picture is we are awake at last and winning or our adversaries wouldn’t be so fearful of our influence.
